Wedding Transport Checklist: Buses for Baraat and Guests
By PakCoachways Team · · 2 min read

Weddings run on a tight schedule, and guest transport is one of the details that can go wrong without a plan. Use this checklist when you book buses for the baraat and the other events.
Before you book
- Fix the dates and venues. Operators need the exact date, pickup points and venue for each event.
- Estimate guest numbers per event. The baraat, mehndi and walima often have different headcounts.
- Decide who needs transport. Immediate family, out-of-town relatives and guests staying at hotels often need different arrangements.
- Book early. Wedding season is busy and good vehicles go first. Request a quote as soon as the date is confirmed.
Choosing vehicles
A coaster suits a mid-size group such as one side of the family, while a larger coach is better when many guests travel together from the same place. Book a little extra capacity so late additions are not a problem.
Timing and routes
- Write down pickup times for every vehicle and share them with a group leader per bus.
- Allow extra time for traffic on the wedding day.
- Plan return trips at the end of the night, including who goes back first.
- Give the driver the full route and any stops in advance.
Questions to confirm with the operator
- Is the price for the full event, including waiting time?
- What time will the vehicle arrive, and how early is it ready?
- Is decoration on the vehicle allowed, and who arranges it?
- Is there a backup vehicle if something goes wrong?
Out-of-city weddings
If the family travels to another city, share the origin, destination and number of guests. Longer routes need rest stops and a clear schedule so everyone arrives fresh.
